The Mohave Community College (MCC) Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host a free business seminar at the Lake Havasu City and Kingman MCC campuses. Attendees will learn about resources for small businesses including Small Business Administration programs for veterans, women in business and much more. Pioneer Title Agency, a family-owned business with five offices in Kingman, Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City and Hualapai, has closed the book on its most recent philanthropic initiative, “Old School,” donating a total of $43,000 and several thousand hours of service to schools across Arizona in the process.  Through the program, Pioneer leadership empowered each of its team members in Arizona to donate time and raise funds for schools in their own communities over the past 18 months. Don Laughlin plans a mix of development on a 52-acre parcel south of the Colorado River bridge that bears his name. The American College of Cardiology Accreditation Services has recognized Havasu Regional Medical Center (HRMC), a LifePoint Health hospital, for its demonstrated expertise and commitment in treating patients who come to a cardiac cath lab for care, including diagnostic catheterizations and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures. Havasu Regional Medical Center was awarded Cardiac Cath Lab Accreditation with PCI in February 2019 based on rigorous onsite evaluation of the staff’s ability to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients who come to the cardiac cath lab.
