MCC math success rates for students to be showcased at national convention

Mohave Community College has been so successful preparing students to succeed at math, that college representatives have been invited to a national conference to showcase how they did it. The Higher Learning Commission, H.L.C., National Conference is the first week of April in Chicago.  H.L.C. invited MCC to explain the college’s new Transitional Math initiative that led to higher student success rates. On March 14, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office celebrated the promotion of John Goodwin to the rank of Sergeant. He has demonstrated that he has the knowledge, experience, and tenure to act as a supervisor and lead others. John Goodwin is recognized as a valuable member of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. Political consultant hired to study possible bond for Palo Christi refurbish project

KINGMAN – The Kingman Unified School District (KUSD) has retained political consultant Paul Ulan to help governing board members and staff contemplate pursuit of a multi-million dollar bond issue to fund the refurbishment and re-purposing of portions of the Palo Christi Elementary school campus downtown. Ulan will work with staff to develop a survey to help measure community awareness, support or opposition to a bond issue that would require voter approval.
