LHCPD awarded Governor’s Office of Highway Safety Grant

The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) awarded the Lake Havasu City Police Department a grant of $30,178 to be used to conduct increased traffic enforcement and to purchase radar tracking equipment. The S.T.E.P. (Selective Traffic Enforcement Program) grant provides the Lake Havasu City Police Department the funds needed to increase traffic enforcement capabilities by assigning personnel on overtime to concentrate on speed enforcement activities.
