Governor to disperse COVID funds to Kingman PHOENIX – The Governor’s Office is providing nearly $600 million in coronavirus relief and recovery dollars for local Arizona governments and nonprofits as part of a funding plan announced today by Governor Doug Ducey. The plan includes $441 million in direct, flexible funding to local cities, towns and counties that did not receive direct funding earlier this year from the federal government. The consultants hired by the city will be gathering data from store front to store front, street, curbs, etc.  on Beale from 1st Street to 6th St (half a block on the north and all the way to Andy Devine on the south at the intersecting streets). Bullhead City’s COVID-19 hotpot, the Joshua Springs Senior Living facility, was the focus of much of Thursday’s special Mohave County Board of Supervisors meeting in Kingman. Supervisor Hildy Angius said her constituents have raised lots of questions since it became known that some deaths and at least 18 coronavirus infections trace to the long-term care facility.
