Hiestand was honored to be the 2020 MCC Student Speaker during the Virtual 2020 MCC Graduate Recognition Ceremony. She was a 2019 All Arizona Academic Team member. Hiestand is a Physical Therapist Assistant student and is continuing her education to earn a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology at Arizona State University. COVID-19 update: 12 new cases, three deaths

MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Monday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified today of 12 new confirmed COVID-19 cases. There are also three deaths from previously reported cases. Two of the deaths are in the Bullhead City service area.  One is 70-79 and one is 80-89. The third death is an 80-89 person in the Lake Havasu City service area. Ten of the 12 new confirmed cases are in the Bullhead City area. All ten remain under investigation.
