House damaged by a fire

KINGMAN – Fire heavily damaged a Kingman home Tuesday. Assistant Fire Chief Keith Eaton said personnel responded just before noon to a report of heavy smoke in the 3300 block of Fairfax Street. “Crews found one occupant being helped from the structure by neighbors. She was unharmed and refused treatment,” Eaton said. He said five neighbors were evaluated for smoke inhalation but all declined further treatment. Eaton said firefighters attacked the fire at the rear of the residence. MOHAVE COUNTY –  Late Tuesday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified today of 29 new confirmed COVID-19 cases. There are also two Bullhead City service area deaths from previously reported cases. One is in the 60-69 year age range and the other is 80-89.
