KINGMAN – U.S. Senator Martha McSally visited Mohave County this weekend and wowed a crowd of more than 200 people Saturday night.

McSally was the keynote speaker at the Mohave County Republican Party’s 2020 Lincoln Day Dinner at Beale Celebrations.

Other guest speakers were Congressman Paul Gosar, Arizona State Senator Sonny Borrelli, and former State Senator Kelli Ward.

Short of Donald Trump himself, almost every local Republican was in attendance including Arizona State Representatives Leo Biasiucci and Regina Cobb, and City Councilwomen Deanna Brice Nelson and SueAnn Mello-Keener.

Topics discussed included gun rights, religious freedom, elections, replacing the seat of the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and illegal immigration.

The event lasted more than two hours.

Downtown Kingman was packed with Chillin’ on Beale activities and a vigil for the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg at the Mohave County Courthouse.

Despite recommended COVID restrictions for social distancing and masks, it was a busy weekend for Kingman.
