KINGMAN – A Kingman High School graduate who founded the Nevada-based Chamber of Cannabis will speak at a Wednesday, May 26 seminar hosted by the Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce. KINGMAN – The Mohave Community College Foundation Kingman Chapter and Anderson Toyota invite the public to a free Drive-In Movie event to celebrate MCC’s 50th Anniversary on Thursday, June 3. Entry begins at 7 p.m. and the movie begins at 8 p.m. The event will be held at the Kingman campus, 1971 Jagerson Ave. The college was founded in 1971, and the MCC foundation will be showing the 1971 release of Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory. WIKIEUP – The Wikieup Trading Post has been destroyed. The commercial structure along U.S. 93 that included a jewelry store and a convenience market was gutted by fire overnight. Witness Savannah Cox said Wikieup residents are thankful that no one was injured and that fuel tanks at the business did not explode. Dave Hawkins
