WestCare approved to receive $1 million of ARPA funds
MOHAVE COUNTY – District 2 Mohave County supervisor Hildy Angius has earned board approval to use coronavirus pandemic relief funds to help addicts recover and rehabilitate in Bullhead City. The county is receiving about $41.5million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, and the board decided in April that each supervisor would take a lead role in determining how to spend a little more than $8million in each of the five county districts. “It is not a secret that my passion is recovery for addicts and alcoholics and all who struggle with addiction, particularly women,” Angius said.
