LAUGHLIN, Nev. – A man was killed during an early Friday fight inside a Laughlin casino. Laughlin Metro police responded at 1:20 a.m. to the incident at the Aquarius Resort. A press release indicates arriving officers found an unresponsive male on the floor of the casino. BULLHEAD CITY – Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) members need to be aware of a potential scam. Members have been calling the MEC Member Services Office after receiving both an automated and live person call. The recorded message and live person call had a similar dialogue: “This is the power company. If you don’t pay over the phone, we will disconnect” or a close variation.
