KCCU car wash

KINGMAN – Mangelsdorf Dentistry will be hosting a car wash to benefit the Kingman Cancer Care Unit (KCCU). The charity event will be held at the Airway Car Wash, 3113 Airway Ave., Saturday, Aug. 21 from 9 a.m. to noon. There will be a 50/50 raffle, dunk tank and Grumpy Grandpa’s Roasted Corn will be on hand. All proceeds from the car wash and sales from Grumpy Grandpa’s will be donated to KCCU.

KINGMAN – The Mohave County Fair Association’s 34-year run administering the Fairgrounds facilities in Kingman could be near its end. The Board of Supervisors voted Monday to terminate its lease with the association and place the Fairgrounds under the administration of the County Parks Department and Director Kristin Zimmerman. Supervisors heard only unfavorable reviews of the Association and its Fairgrounds operation during Monday’s Board meeting. KINGMAN – A budget and legislative session community meeting will be open to the public on Tuesday, Aug. 17 beginning at 1 p.m. at the Mohave County Board of Supervisors auditorium, 700 W.
