Ashphalt pavement repair on Lake Havasu Avenue

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City Public Works Department announces asphalt pavement repair on Lake Havasu Avenue from Mulberry Avenue to Combat Drive. This work will require Lake Havasu Avenue to be closed on two separate occasions and will result in additional cost savings to the City and an accelerated completion time to get motorists back on the road as soon as possible. Mohave County Fair in jeopardy

KINGMAN – The annual Mohave County Fair could be the next victim of the pandemic. A subcommittee is recommending to the Fair Association governing board that most components of the Fair scheduled in mid-September be canceled. Fair Board President Jerry McGuire said the midway fun must be shut down because the vendor will not bring the carnival to Kingman due to coronavirus concerns. He said the subcommittee is also recommending that the buildings be closed to various exhibits and competitions that take place at the fair each year.
