Vote, vote vote

Dear Editor, This upcoming election will be one of the most important in my 79-year lifetime and probably yours. Our current federal government is the most dysfunctional government ever. We have legislatures that want a more socialistic government and some leading to Marxism. The problem is do they really know what this could lead to? I have had the privilege of serving in our military and serving two – two – tours in the area of the Middle East, living and government traveling in Turkey, Pakistan, Iran North and East Africa. Knowing some of the depth of the governments in…

WL Nugent Cancer Center receives American Cancer Society Grant o help local patients with transportation

KINGMAN – Cancer patients undergoing treatment frequently require assistance getting to and from facilities, often creating a financial and logistical burden. That’s why the American Cancer Society has awarded a transportation grant to Kingman Regional Medical Center’s WL Nugent Cancer Center. If anyone can give cash, the Kingman Elks Lodge #468 at 900 Gates Ave., will have a collection box for cash in the social quarters. The items can be held in the meeting room for Nani Chrimes to pick up to send to Prescott. The Elks office is open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 am. To 3 p.m. for collection items through Nov. 1. Then they have to be packaged up…

Trump is no war hero

Dear Editor, To those who think Joe Biden is mentally unfit, I would ask. How smart is a president who agrees to give 18 to 19 recorded interviews to a journalist, spill his secrets, and think the information is not going to get released to the public. Should we not question Trump’s mental prowess? I posit this revelation is not going to sit well with liberal Americans, but will make no difference to those afflicted with Trump derangement syndrome. Just like the on-air ads we see for candidates on both sides, ones which claim to have seen “Joe’s America” in…
