Anderson exits board clerk post

MOHAVE COUNTY – Ginny Anderson is stepping down as Clerk of the Board of Supervisors for Mohave County. She explained her exit in her Feb. 12 resignation letter. “I have accepted a position which will allow me to be closer to family,” Anderson said in her communication to the five board members and copied to County Manager Sam Elters. She cited privacy concerns in declining to shine light on residency and her new job. Human Resource records show Anderson began county employment as an office assistant in Feb., 2007. Last week the Lake Havasu Community had the opportunity to learn about the journeys of these incredibly historic women. Kingman teen charged with murder

KINGMAN – A Kingman teenager has been indicted for first degree murder following the death of the man he admitted shooting late last month, according to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO). The agency indicated that Terry Hill, 35, Kingman, died Feb. 3 at the Las Vegas hospital where he was being treated for the gunshot to the face that he suffered on Jan. 30 at a residence in the 3600 block of Northfield Ave. While the MCSO declined to identify the juvenile while noting the upgraded murder charge, the suspect is named as Keygun Field, 17, in the Grand…
