Joe O’Neill was born on November 6, 1947 in Dublin, Ireland. The Lord has called Joe on January 16, 2024. A Christian mass is scheduled for Saturday, February 17, at 11 a.m., at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 302 E. Spring Street. Burial will follow the mass, at Mountain View Cemetery in Kingman. Wounded suspect returned to Kingman

KINGMAN – A Kingman man wounded by gunfire in an officer-involved shooting has been returned to Arizona for prosecution. 39-year-old Andrew Romero is held in the Mohave County Adult Detention Center awaiting trial. Authorities said Romero was shot when officers responding to Dec. 29, 2023 domestic disturbance report encountered the shotgun brandishing subject who did not comply with police commands outside a home in the 1700 block of Golden Gate Ave. Romero was treated for his wound at a hospital in Las Vegas hospital and he was returned to Kingman on Feb. 7.
