As your Mohave County Treasurer, I would like to provide you with information regarding the 2024 Board of Supervisors (Board) Tax Deed Sale auction and how you can take part in the auction yourself. Upon receiving Board approval, the County will be hosting the 2024 Tax Deed Sale auction in March with a tentative list of over 2,900 parcels. A Tax Deed Sale is the sale of real property by the Board to the highest bidder. MOHAVE COUNTY – The first-ever MCC Community Education Art Show and Sale is coming to the College’s Beale Street Center at 309 E. Beale St. from 4 – 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1. Dealing with the challenges of Christmas.  

Dear Editor, Christmas is a joyful season but always has some challenges. The place of Christmas is often a question. Mary and Joseph ended up in Bethlehem when Jesus was born. They had gone there to pay taxes. Paying taxes is never fun but something we have to do. The place they ended up when Jesus was born was probably not their desired location to bear their first child but they made the most of the location.  Location trips a lot of people up on Christmas. Many have no choice. They will spend Christmas in the nursing home or jail….
