KPD Corporal Stacey Mayo retires

KINGMAN – On Thursday, February 28, Corporal Stacey Mayo has retired from the Kingman Police Department (KPD) after 25 years of service.  Mayo  was hired by KPD in February 1994; promoted to Corporal in 1998; and assigned to the School Resource Program in January 1999.  Having served for over 20 years as a SRO, Mayo  was a valuable team member and driving force in the success of the SRO program and the Junior Police Academy. Mayo  has been and will always be a valuable member of the KPD family.  They are sad to see her go, but wish her and her family…

City recognizes American Recycles Day

KINGMAN – On Thursday, February 28, City of Kingman Mayor Jen Miles and the Kingman Clean City Commissioner Clerence Russell awarded certificates and prizes to top winning students in the 2019 American Recycles Day poster and essay contest at the Power House Visitor Center. Seven local schools, 33 classrooms, and 661 students from kindergarten through eighth grade participated.
