Lake Havasu City Municipal Airport master plan update and open house announced

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The public is invited to an open house to discuss the Lake Havasu Municipal Airport Master Plan update on Thursday, March 28, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Lake Havasu City Municipal Airport Terminal Building, located at 5600 Hwy 95 #1. The open house gives residents, businesses and property owners an opportunity to meet City staff and get more information on this very important project.

The goal of the Airport Master Plan is to provide the framework needed to guide future Airport development that will cost-effectively satisfy aviation demand, while considering potential environmental and socioeconomic issues.  The FAA recommends that public use airports like Lake Havasu City Municipal Airport prepare a new Airport Master Plan every seven to ten years or as local aviation conditions change.  The previous Master Plan was completed in 2009.

For more information, please contact Lake Havasu City Project Manager, Jeff Herb, at 928-680-5474.
