Teen Break event to be held at Rotary Park

BULLHEAD CITY – In an effort to facilitate a safe and enjoyable Teen Break event for the teens, volunteers and staff, the south end of Rotary Community Park and walking path are closed to the public, beginning Monday, March 11 at 3:00 p.m. through Thursday, March 14 at 5:00 p.m. During this time, the Tinnell Memorial Skate Park is also closed to the public on Wednesday, March 13 from 11:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.

Teen Break is for youth currently enrolled in sixth through 12th grade. Participants do not have to be Lake Havasu City residents to attend.  Cost is $40 per participant. This all-inclusive event includes food, drink, flight simulator, gaming trailer, cow tongue football, mud pit, 3-on-3 basketball, relays, beach and water games, volleyball competitions, waterslide, prizes, music by DJ Havik, and more.

Registration is available at the Aquatic Center Monday, March 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday, March 12, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Wristbands are available at the Aquatic Center on Monday, March 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Tuesday, March 12, starting 10:00 a.m. Participants must be present with proof of grade in order to pick up their program wristband.
