Only 48 hours after the TCU and Cal football teams finished an overtime battle in the Cheez-It Bowl, 80,000 square feet of turf had been taken up from the stadium floor. Hash marks, cleat marks, Cheez-It logos and all was loaded onto a dozen flatbed trailers and hauled 200 miles to Bullhead City, Arizona, where it was laid onto a plot of land that the community had spent thousands of dollars and many weeks preparing. Through the rain and sunshine, over 540 participants walked for the cause! The 6TH Annual Connie Davis 5k Walk & Roll was held on Saturday, March 2nd at the Pyramid Canyon day use area of North Reach Heritage Trails. Despite the morning being met with a mild downpour, over 540 participants registered to support the cause!  Shortly after the walk began, the sun came out from behind the clouds.
