Knauf Insulation Facility located in the Kingman Airport Industrial Park and will offer it for lease to regional and national firms. Bat netting workshops come to Verde River July 26, Sept. 6

Bats get a bad rap, but the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) aims to change that by highlighting the good they do – such as eating pesky mosquitoes and flies – during a series of bat netting and monitoring workshops July 26 and Sept. 6. Young bald eagle released back into the wild celebrates freedom

After a graceful half-mile flight across Horseshoe Lake, the 3-year-old bald eagle released back into the wild by Arizona Game and Fish Department and Liberty Wildlife was free once again.  It was a fitting conclusion for the bird that was found in February at a Queen Creek dairy suffering from a shattered femur.
