Colorado Belle announces possible permanent closure

Accordintg to a post from the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Colorado Belle, an iconic hotel-casino on the Colorado River in Laughlin, will stay closed for the foreseeable future and lay off its 400 workers. Casino operator Golden Entertainment Inc. said closures to stop the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in March and uncertainty about the return of the market led to the decision. Golden publicly acknowledged the Planned closure on Monday.

Newest cases all in Kingman area MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Sunday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 3 COVID-19 positive cases in Mohave County.  All three are in the Kingman service area.  Two are in the 20-44 year age range. KINGMAN – The Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) Volunteers will host a blood drive May 20and 21at Beale Celebrations, located at 214 N. Fourth Street in Kingman. Blood donors are needed on an ongoing basis to ensure safe levels of blood in our community.
