Police ask for help with cold case

Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit is seeking the public’s assistance with collecting information on a cold case homicide. On December 27, 2003, MCSO Detectives were called to mile marker 6 on Katherine Mine Rd. northeast of Bullhead City in reference to a deceased female found in the desert. The victim was identified as Mille Rae Ruth Dauster (44 at time of death). Dauster’s body was located in a remote area approximately one quarter mile from Katherine Mine Rd. and was not visible from the main road. KINGMAN – Prison sentences were ordered Thursday for Mohave Valley men who entered plea agreements for separate and unrelated acts of violence. Robert Yale, 28, was convicted of aggravated assault for a June 2017 attack upon his 74-year-old wheelchair-bound grandfather-in-law. Yale admitted he was under the influence of drugs when he kicked the man in the head, causing brain bleeding. “He is very sad that this occurred, just heart broken,” defense attorney Anita Dale said of her client’s remorse.
