Dear Editor, I live in Valle Vista and have experienced inaction from the daily newspaper and local Kingman fire chief and his employee as well as Mohave County Development Services (MCDS) concerning codes and enforcement. This has progressed to ignoring my concerns. In September I wrote three different letters to the editor to the local daily newspaper concerning Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District (NACFD), requesting a meeting concerning fire protection in Valle Vista, primarily about lack of communication, existing fire hazards, and weed abatement. Havasu man charged with child porn

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Authorities seized electronic devices and arrested a Lake Havasu City man as part of an ongoing investigation involving child pornography. Police said the investigation began months ago after an internet crimes task force reported detection of illegal image downloading. Detectives executed a search warrant on Tuesday, Oct. 27 after pinpointing the residence in question in the 3100 block of Desert View Court. Sergeant Tom Gray said Daniel Weidner, 36, was arrested at a separate location in Lake Havasu. Weidner was booked into jail for five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. Dave Hawkins

Aquarius to host 9th Annual ‘Feed A Family’ charity initiative
