‘Upscale’ manufactured housing project planned

FT. MOHAVE – Plan amendments and rezoning required for an “affordable-yet upscale” manufactured housing subdivision in Fort Mohave are supported by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors. Approvals during the Board’s April 5 meeting included stipulations that the developer, Gaia Signature Group LLC, fund any Camp Mohave access road paving necessary for the 90-acre Via Dolce project. MOHAVE COUNTY – Knowledge is the key to opening doors of opportunity and positive change. Spurlock appointed temporary Clerk of Superior Court

MOHAVE COUNTY – Presiding Judge Charles Gurtler has appointed deputy director Christina Spurlock as temporary Clerk of Mohave County Superior Court. Clerk Virlynn Tinnell is leaving the post she’s held for 22 years to take the bench next Monday to serve as Justice of the Peace for the Cerbat precinct. City of Kingman payment portal fully functional

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman Utility Billing Citizen Self Service online portal is once again fully functional, following a February criminal cyberattack. Upon initial login, customers will be prompted to change their password. The city will also resume processing automatic credit card payments, beginning with bills due April 18. Any customers enrolled in automatic credit card payments with unpaid bills due between March 3, and April 17, will need to remit payment by another method. Public comment sought on Wikieup mining venture

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Kingman Field Office has completed a preliminary environmental assessment and is seeking public comment on a proposed exploration plan from Big Sandy Inc. that would allow for 145 drill sites and a bulk sample near the town of Wikieup in Mohave County.  Public comments will be accepted for 30 days, from April 12 through May 11, 2021. This exploration drilling project is proposed to disturb 26 acres of public land, located within several sections east of Wikieup.
