BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City is seeking applications from residents interested in serving on the Bullhead Area Transit System Commission (“BATS”). The BATS Commission makes recommendations to the Bullhead City Council regarding the development and maintenance of a public transportation system for the city.  The BATS Commission meets quarterly on the first Monday of February, May, August, and November; and holds special meetings as required. KINGMAN – The formula for funding Kingman’s Interstate 40 Rancho Santa Fe interchange project has evolved. Two of the three funding sources remain the same, but the third has changed according to Mayor Jen Miles, City Manager Ron Foggin and city spokeswoman Colleen Haines. $20 million from the state remains available for the next four years and the city is committed to providing several million dollars more. The Kingman Regional Medical Center Foundation will present the third annual Black Tie Gala. This event benefits the Foundation’s Catch It Early program, which helps local women obtain the breast healthcare they need – regardless of their ability to pay. They provide community outreach and education; free or low-cost mammograms; and other healthcare and support services for the early detection and treatment of breast cancer.
