Free COVID-19 testing Saturday in Kingman

KINGMAN, AZ (May 1, 2020) — The Arizona Department of Health Services has announced a statewide free Arizona Testing Blitz at various locations throughout the state. This 3-day event scattered over three Saturdays in May (May 2, 9, 16) is aimed to increase the testing of COVID-19 in the state. In Mohave County, Sonora Quest will be conducting a drive-thru testing event at Kingman High School, 4182 N. Bank Street tomorrow, Saturday, May 2 from 7am to 1pm. BULLHEAD CITY – Colorado River Union High School District (CRUHSD) Superintendent Todd Flora has cancelled his monthly community forum scheduled for Monday, May 4. This second consecutive cancellation is due to COVID-19 State-mandated assembly restrictions, including the closure to the public of school district offices. Flora expects to resume the forums upon guidance from Gov. Doug Ducey’s office, the Arizona Department of Health Services, and the Mohave County Department of Public Health. Viola Jewel Guillot went home to be with her God on the morning of Saturday April 25, 2020, at the age of 81. Viola passed at home surrounded by her family that loved her so very much. She battled like a champion for three years with health concerns, because she knew the loss of her would be too much for her family.
