Epcor takeover advancing

BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City council has approved a staff recommendation to seek $90 million in bond financing to move forward with a court approved condemnation of the local assets of the Epcor water company. BULLHEAD CITY  – On Tuesday, July 15, at 7:33 a.m., 542 Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) members experienced an outage due to a damaged connector after strong stormy winds. Crews responded by de-energizing the line to make repairs. Once repairs were completed, the line was re-energized, and power was restored to all members at 9:53 a.m. The outage affected members north of Marina Blvd. and south of Church Street of Bullhead City. MOHAVE COUNTY — Mohave County Flood Control District has prepared its truth in taxation information for the fiscal year 2021-2022 budget in compliance with Arizona Revised Statutes § 48-254. According to the 2021 levy limit referenced by the Arizona Department of Revenue Property Tax Oversight Commission (PTOC), Mohave County Flood Control’s truth in taxation rate is $0.4784.  Mohave County Flood Control District is proposing a rate of $0.5000 which is $0.0216 higher than the truth in taxation rate.  It is proposed to levy $9,507,007 in fiscal year 2021-2022 which is an increase of $403,593 or 4.5% above the PTOC truth in…
