-Closures Later this Week-
KINGMAN – The City of Kingman will be completing asphalt repairs on sections of Eastern Street. Starting Thursday, April 16, Eastern St. will be closed in two sections; the first section will be closest to Interstate 40, with the second section being closed at Broudy Drive. Both areas will be open by the end Thursday.
The first closure will occur between Detroit Avenue and Calumet Ave. beginning at 6:00 a.m. this Thursday, and ending at approximately 12:00 p.m. During this time there will be no through access on Eastern Ave and access to the south side of Interstate 40 will be from Hualapai Mountain Road, only. Access to the north side of Interstate 40 will be from Airway Ave. only.
The second closure will occur between Airfield Ave. and Berry Ave., between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.n., but will include a detour route around the closure. During this time Broudy Dr. will be closed at Eastern St.
