Area high school honor Valedictorians

MOHAVE COUNTY –  High School from around the county and surroundings areas are celebrating their valedictorians.

Kingman High School Valedictorian Mykayla Wilson will attend NAU to study biomedical science. She plans to pursue graduate training to operate heart–lung machines during cardiopulmonary bypass surgeries.
Mohave High School Valedictorians Zephyr Chavers, Cassidy Alvarez, Andres Alegria, and Elena Rojas celebrate standout achievements, from a full‑ride QuestBridge scholarship to Brown, to leadership in band, Interact, and regional orchestra.
Kingman Academy Valedictorians Sydney Kroger, Emma Petrauschke, Caitlin Spawn, and Chloe Hunt are headed into nursing, oncology, law, communications, and marine biology, earning scholarships and university placements across South Dakota, Utah, Arizona, and Alaska.
Laughlin Valedictorians Jadyn Danner and Lucy Braaksma earned significant scholarships and excelled in sports, StuCo, and Interact. Jadyn will study nursing at Mohave College, while Lucy will pursue welding at Mohave College.
Lee Williams Valedictorian Samuel Cain Massey will attend NAU to study secondary education and history. A standout baseball player and student leader, he also earned an associate degree and competed nationally in constitutional literacy.
MALC Valedictorian Laisyc Conlogue, a USC‑bound biological sciences major, excelled in academics, service, leadership, and athletics. With 300+ service hours, multiple club roles, varsity sports, and an associate degree, he was honored as DAR Good Citizen and Senior of the Year.
Lake Havasu High School honored top graduates Collin Miller, left, and Reese Ford, right. Collin will study chemical engineering at Rose‑Hulman Institute of Technology, while Reese begins an internship in his family’s plumbing business as he pursues a business degree.
