KINGMAN, Ariz. – The Standard has received multiple reports on Friday, July 17 indicating that people were running through the fields across from the Mohave Airport Drive and Hwy 66. Eyewitness reports confirm that ICE agents in unmarked vehicles were and are in the vicinity, and that Mohave Airport Drive had been blockaded earlier today.
The Standard confirmed that ICE uniformed ICE agents were in fact in the vicinity in unmarked vehicles and that the blockade had been taken down at the time of this report. Calls to the City of Kingman Police Department and Mohave County Sheriffs Office by The Standard failed to ascertain any information by either agency confirming or denying.
ICE temporarily detained a Standard representative. When ICE was questioned regarding the ‘stop’ an ICE agent was reported to be conducting surveillance. When asked how ICE could stop cars without reasonable suspicion the ICE agents stated “we are just following orders.”

5:35 p.m. UPDATE: Reports continue to come in regarding ICE agents present at Peacock Nut Farm on Hwy 66 near Kingman Airport Area.
The Standard has received unsubstantiated reports that ICE agents detained and removed multiple farm workers early Friday morning July 17 between the night and morning shift change.
An eyewitness reported that ICE agents remained at all four corners of the farm late Friday afternoon and into the evening in marked Raptors, Jeeps and Durangos, and out Bank Street right before it hits dirt.
Another eyewitness who was temporarily detained was told to “keep going and don’t worry about what’s going on.”
An ex-county employee reported that Peacock Nut Farms has approximately 18 staff plus management, and that this is not the first ICE visit to the farm.
