BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – The Bullhead City Police Department (BHCPD) is investigating an attempted homicide reported on Sunday, July 12. Police Lieutenant Eddie Espinoza said officers responded at about 3:35 p.m. to a report that a man had been shot.

“The investigation revealed a physical altercation involving several males and a female broke out at the intersection of McCormick Boulevard and Highway 68 and that the altercation stemmed from a road rage incident inside of Davis Camp,” Espinoza said. “One of the subjects involved produced a firearm and fired several shots, striking a 28-year-old Bullhead City man.”

Espinoza said the victim was first transported to a local hospital before he was transferred to a trauma center in Las Vegas. “The victim is currently listed in stable condition and is expected to recover from his injuries.”

Espinoza said police were unable to make contact with other involved parties before they fled in multiple vehicles.
