KINGMAN, Ariz. – The Jerry Ambrose Veterans Council will host a Golfing for Vets: Golf with Purpose tournament on Saturday, August 22 at Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course. Cost is $125 per player (four-person scramble) and includes lunch, cart and greens fees, prizes and giveaways.
Cash prizes will be awarded to first through fourth place, a free foursome for last place, two hole-in-one car giveaways for the front 9 and the back 9, closest to the pin challenge, longest drive, a silent auction, and a grand prize raffle of a Caribbean vacation.
Check in will begin at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Tournament sponsors include The Geo Group and Origin Mining Company.
