Havasu participates in Light the Night for fallen firefighters

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City is participating in the National Firefighters Foundation’s “Light the Night” Fallen Firefighters campaign, honoring the firefighters who have passed away this year on the job and from job-related illnesses nationwide. In support of this initiative, as dusk turns to night, various City buildings and landmarks are lit red, including the London Bridge.

This annual event, hosted by the National Firefighters Foundation, is a tribute to firefighters who have made the ultimate sacrifice and serves as a way to honor and remember those individuals and their families.

Starting Sunday, April 26, through Sunday, May 3, citizens are encouraged to participate in this initiative and light up their homes and businesses red to honor fallen firefighters. Please join us in honoring our fallen brothers and sisters across the Nation.

For further information, contact the Fire Administration at (928) 855-1141.
