Meandering speech

Dear Editor,
I watched the recent North Carolina rally speech, and like many voters, I found it disorganized and hard to follow. Slurred words, abrupt shifts, and rambling made the message unclear.
This isn’t a medical claim. It’s simply the expectation that anyone running for president should communicate clearly. Voters deserve to judge what we see and hear for ourselves.
As we head into 2024, I hope people of all parties watch full speeches and decide whether a candidate offers clarity or confusion. Our country deserves steady communicators.
And when a speech wanders into topics like undergarments and how they’re folded, it’s fair to ask what that has to do with governing. Those tangents don’t help voters understand real issues.

  1. Pardon the brain glitch. The year should be 2026! I actually wrote this in 2023 and was recycling it. The message is still the same.
