LAKE HAVASU CITY — This past weekend, there was no such thing as too much fun in the sun for the members of Lake Havasu’s Women’s Council of Realtors.

The nonprofit’s Toes in the Sand Fashion Show took place on Thursday June 12 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Shugrue’s Bridgeview Room.

Founded by local realtor Lisa Cordeiro, the council of realtors was created to give the women of the industry a voice as well as provide support to others in that same career.  Local businesses offered their encouragement in beach chic attire all in the spirit of philanthropy, delight, and fashion.

Attractive backdrops of beachy scenery were provided along with local models also known as some of Havasu’s community realtors, modeling exciting styles from neighborhood department stores.  The annual event also included music, food, and a refreshing creative splash of tropical inspired cocktails.

Tickets were $50 dollars per person and all proceeds benefitted educational opportunities and leadership development in the real estate field.
