Five car clubs cruise for AZ Veterans K9 Services

KINGMAN — The Kingman Republican Women have been working to assist Sean Regan of the Arizona Veterans K9 Services Organization as part of its “Caring for American” project, with donations to feed and care for the dogs he is training for veterans.

With the help of 5 local car clubs; Fabulous Fords and Mustangs, Pharoah’s, Saturday Night Cruisers, Shifters and Time Travelers, these clubs donated: several hundred pounds of dog food, cleaning supplies, towels, blankets, dog treat, collars, leashes and money.

To date, Arizona Veterans K9 Services has given 86 service dogs to veterans in need.

StarLite Kennels receives dogs that are evaluated for service dog training.  Dogs who qualify are then trained by AZ Veteran K9 Services for training to be given to veterans who need a hand up.  Other dogs can be adopted by the public.

StarLite Kennels and AZ Veterans K9 Services “help those who helped so many.”
