City of Kingman seeking applicants for new Golf Course Commission

KINGMAN – The Kingman City Council invites residents to apply for the newly formed Golf Course Commission, a key advisory body dedicated to shaping the future of golf in Kingman.  The City Council has approved the creation of this commission to provide guidance and oversight in the development, implementation, and review of the city’s golf course master plan. The commission will evaluate progress toward achieving the plan’s goals while promoting new opportunities to enhance golfing programs and increase community engagement.

The Commission will be composed of seven members of the community and will meet bi-monthly on the second Monday starting in April at noon in the City Council Chambers.

Residents interested in serving on the commission are encouraged to apply online by visiting: http://serve.cityofkingman.gov/.  Completed applications may also be submitted via email to cityclerk@cityofkingman.gov or delivered in person to the City Clerk’s Office at 310 North 4th Street.

The deadline to apply is Wednesday, February 26. All applications will be reviewed and considered during the March 18 City Council meeting.

For more information, contact the City Clerk’s Office at 928-753-8102.
