LAKE HAVASU CITY – Grace Arts Live ended their season over the weekend with their production of Madagascar A Musical Adventure Jr. The theatre’s last show took place on Sunday, July 28 at Grace Arts Live.
Since 2006, Grace Arts live has been producing large and small shows. The theatre is a nonprofit for youths who wish to participate in the performing arts. It is also affiliated with Arizona Coast Performing Arts.
Madagascar is an adaptation of the animated movie. It is the story about a lion named Alex and his friends Gloria the hippo, Melman the giraffe, and Marty the Zebra. The animals set on an adventurous trip from their home at the Central Park Zoo. The animal friends travel to the wild plains of Madagascar. This was a musical performance that included songs like “We Are Family” and “I Like to Move it.” Aside from the show’s catchy tunes, it is also an uplifting tale full of heart and comedy.
Shows by Grace Arts Live will return on September 13 with the production of Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Musical.
