Havasu council discusses property tax, road surveys

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City has officially entered a new fiscal year.  Adoption for the Lake Havasu property tax levy was passed for a rate of $0.6718 per $100.00 assessed value for the fiscal year of 2024 to 2025.

Greenlight Engineering made a visit to the meeting to invite the community to participate in their roadway safety survey. The survey will be intended to collect the public’s perceptions of road safety. A QR code by the transportation company was available at the courthouse that lets people see their interactive map and participate in the exercise. The survey answers will help to create updated safety plans that can serve the area.

The city has agreed on a minor general plan to revise the future land use for 70, 80, 90, and 100 Inlet Drive.
