Fire station project discussed at Lake Havasu City Council

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A resolution was passed to amend the current fiscal year. This means that the transferring of budget appropriations from one general fund to another fiscal year.

The city entered an agreement for the Fire Station Number Seven Project. The siting criteria presented would be for a more functional fire station.  The goal is to have response times decreased for the population that the area will be serving.  The location will be a city owned parcel along with added fire and EMS protection. It was estimated that the design and construction of this could take a year to complete.
