Burglary suspect arrested

LAKE HAVASU CITY – An alleged serial burglar has been arrested in Lake Havasu City. Detective Chris Angus said police identified 41-year-old Michael Brothers as a suspect while investigating residential burglaries over the past month.

Officers searching for Brothers reportedly spotted him in the parking lot of Birch Square at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. He was taken into custody without further incident during a brief foot pursuit in the 2100blockofMcCulloch Boulevard North.

Brothers was initially booked into jail on four burglary charges, theft, a parole violation and an unrelated warrant. Police continue investigating the burglary spree.
