Whether you believe it or not, the universe doesn’t revolve around us. All creation revolves around the all-powerful, sovereign GOD. The Bible tells us that “the heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” (Psalm 19:1) Last night I had the opportunity to view what the naked eye cannot see via a very powerful telescope. The only word that comes to mind is indescribable, which also applies to the creator. Our GOD has revealed Himself to us, not only through creation, but has given mankind a special revelation called the scriptures, or the Bible….

Kingman Area Foodbank honored KINGMAN — The Kingman Chamber of Commerce accepts nominations for people and agencies that provide outstanding services to the Kingman community throughout each year, and once a year selects individuals and businesses from those nominees for the Andy award. One of our volunteers, Elizabeth “Marcella” Jackson chose to nominate the Kingman Area Foodbank. Marcella is one of about 40 volunteers who are the backbone of the Foodbanks ability to distribute food to the needy. (last year we distributed over 1.4 million lbs. of food). Three arrested near Littlefield for drug possession, other charges

LITTLEFIELD – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Joshua Bradyn Blake, 26 of Logan, UT, Aundrae Giles, 28 of Spanish Fork, UT, and Craig Anthony Hanlin, 50 of St. George, UT. On Saturday, Sept. 19, at approximately 1 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle travelling northbound on Interstate 15. Deputies made contact with the driver, identified as Blake, who advised he did not have a valid driver’s license. The passenger was identified as Giles, and the backseat passenger was identified as Hanlin. Blake gave consent to a search of the vehicle, which resulted in locating 223 grams…

Dear Editor, This upcoming election will be one of the most important in my 79-year lifetime and probably yours. Our current federal government is the most dysfunctional government ever. We have legislatures that want a more socialistic government and some leading to Marxism. The problem is do they really know what this could lead to? I have had the privilege of serving in our military and serving two – two – tours in the area of the Middle East, living and government traveling in Turkey, Pakistan, Iran North and East Africa. Knowing some of the depth of the governments in…
