Kingman city parks facilities to reopen today -Aquatics facilities will open by May 25

KINGMAN – After Governor Ducey begins to phase in re-opening Arizona, Kingman city parks will reopen Saturday, May 16, with aquatics facilities (pools and splash pad) opening May 25, (weather permitting). Tennis courts will be available, basketball hoops will be re-installed, skate park will be opened, and playground equipment will be available for use. Ramadas and ball fields can also be rented, when CDC guidelines are followed. MOHAVE COUNTY – Late this afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 8 confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in Mohave County and two COVID-19 related deaths. All of them are in the Kingman service area. The two deaths are both previously identified Kingman area cases and are linkedto another confirmed case.  One person is in the 55-64 year age range and the other is 65 to 74 in age.
