To mark the school’s golden anniversary, the Mohave High Alumni Association is holding an open house for both alumni and the general public this Thursday, September 5 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. There will be photo galleries with posters, old scrap books, past yearbooks, themed entertainment and different types of memorabilia for viewing and purchase. KINGMAN – A Kingman teenager faces a possible lengthy prison sentence after admitting sexual involvement with five young girls, 14 to 17 years of age. The plea agreement for Dillan Gonzales, 19 was entered Thursday at the Mohave County Courthouse. “I have enormous discretion at sentencing,” explained Judge Billy Sipe. Dear Editor, All the years I’ve driven, and when I did pass my test that meant I had responsibility. Please take note! Having a driver license doesn’t give people the right to act stupid and to abuse their privilege. When you see a sign that reads, “Do not enter” that means you should obey it. LAKE HAVASU CITY – An estranged husband and wife are the victims of what Lake Havasu City police report to be a murder-suicide. Those found dead inside a residence in the 2900 block of Green Acres Drive last Thursday night are identified as Keri Malkiewicz, 42, and Daniel Malkiewicz, 53. Court records show that Mrs. Malkiewicz petitioned for divorce from her husband in July. The initial police news release said both victims were found on the kitchen floor of the residence.
