Will change actually materialize?

Conservatives take note! President Trump has managed to tick off a bunch of military big wigs; John Kelly, Martin Dempsey, James Mattis, Mike Mullin plus his own Secretary of Defense Mark Esper. Seems they all agree there is no reason to invoke the “Insurrection Act” to quell protesters. By the way, Esper will probably be out of a job because he had the backbone to publicly disagree with Trump.

Now we learn all four former living presidents as well as Colin Powell and Mitt Romney are showing disdain for supporting Trump.

Perhaps it is my paranoia, but I have to wonder if it is conceivable Trump is testing the waters of his authority by attempting to mobilize the military against protesters. Had it worked the ultimate goal would be to install himself Supreme Leader. Far fetched you say? Remember bleach and Lysol!

True to form, when asked his plan to eradicate systemic racism, there was no response, similar to the nonexistent plan to replace the Affordable Care Act.

The time has come to end racism in this country. It should not have required a constitutional amendment to allow black citizens or women to vote.

It also occurs to me why the media has been so silent revealing George Floyd’s past criminal encournters with the law. I firmly believe absolutely no one should ever be treated in the unconscionable manner we saw from these arresting officers. On the other hand, like the majority of us he made mistakes for which he had presumably been held accountable. This scenario (black men killed by police) has occurred many, many times before. Outrage ensues along with promises of change, yet change never materializes. Will this time be different?
