Dear Editor,
The new Board of Directors of Valle Vista want to run the board meetings their own way.
- No reading of the minutes of past meetings.
- No reporting in the financial report of back assessments, penalties and fines.
- Call to Public not in the minutes on any of the suggestions, inquiries, solutions, or even answers of what was said by any member of the Council of Co-Owners, even though they sign in to speak on one subject.
- The Board of Directors are so cheap they won’t even get a microphone and speaker so that the Council of Co-Owners can hear what they say.
The new board has been in their positions for five months now and still no compliance committee, so you violators are still safe!
Our CL&Rs 25-year extension is very important and needs to be addressed which the board is doing, but other important items are not so lucky. Priorities, I guess, but back assessments, compliance committee, getting more members for the golf course, watching our watering and try to save money and make money for the Valle Vista POA. These are important too.
This article may not get in the VVPOA’s monthly newsletter because a board member is now the new editor too! We will see!
Keep up the good work all you volunteers of Valle Vista and maybe things will get better.
