USDA to host Rural Development Day in Kingman

KINGMAN  – On Wednesday, June 26, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Single Family Housing staff will be available in Mohave County Community Service’s Mezzanine Room (700 w. Beale St.) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to inform and process homeowner applications for 504 Home Repair Loans and Grants. In partnership with the Western Arizona Council of Governments (WACOG), Homeowners are invited to speak with a specialist about available programs and begin applications. Representatives from the Social Security Administration (SSA) will also be present to assist with services. Bilingual services available.
“We’re excited to bring Rural Development Day to Mohave County and provide the opportunity for qualifying homeowners in Kingman and neighboring towns to learn about and apply for our programs,” says Arizona State Director Charlene Fernandez. “The 504 Home Repair Loan and Grant Programs helps make rural home repairs possible: roofing, flooring, bathroom and kitchen renovations, and more. Our expert team is coming to you, so take advantage of their proximity and see what Rural Development can do for you.”
