· Remember that self-care is important too. Take a break from the 24-hour news cycle and listen to some music, read, meditate, make a healthy meal, tackle a home project or get reacquainted with an old hobby. Right now, with so few people driving cars or flying planes, our air quality is wonderful. It’s a great time to experience the beauty of the natural world.
· Many pharmacies, grocery stores, retail stores, banks, credit unions, credit cards, and other services are offering special services during the pandemic. Some of these services include: pharmacist chats, drive-up services for most goods, free delivery, discounts, and much more. Check their individual websites for additional details.
· Keep in contact with friends and family by phone and sharing encouraging, positive information when possible on social media. It’s important not to be flippant, but give people permission to breathe, walk, and enjoy their pets and their families. Ask them to share their favorite music playlist, show you the puzzles they’re working on, and encourage positive thoughts.
