Temporary restrictions of public lands for 2026 Legacy Racing Parker 500 race

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Bureau of Land Management Lake Havasu Field Office announces the temporary closure and restriction of selected public lands for the 2026 Legacy Racing Parker 500 race in La Paz County. The temporary closures will be in effect 11:59 p.m. Feb. 15, through 11:59 p.m. Feb. 24.

This temporary closure and restrictions are designed to keep participants, spectators and the visiting public safe during the races. These precautions help ensure safe and successful events.

Access to public lands in and around the racecourse will be temporarily closed, restricted, or designated as spectator areas. Restricted and closed areas will be marked at key access points with signs, fencing or barriers.

A map of the closures is attached and available on BLM Arizona’s webpage Temporary closure for 2026 Legacy Racing Parker 500 race.
